Bringing Passion and Team Spirit to Summit School

Students at Summit School received a memorable visit from Simon Gatti, head coach of CF Montreal’s U-14 team and former Impact player. Known for his dedication to the game and his motivational leadership, Gatti took time to share his journey and inspire students with his words and actions.

The visit began with an inspiring talk where Gatti encouraged students to embrace teamwork, resilience, and passion in all areas of their lives. His stories resonated deeply with the students, demonstrating how perseverance and a positive mindset can overcome challenges. After the talk, Gatti laced up his cleats and joined students for a game of soccer.

Adding to the fun, Tac-Tik the dog, a Summit favorite, made a special appearance on the field, delighting students and bringing extra energy to the event. The rooftop soccer field is one of many exciting features in the new facility, symbolizing a commitment to combining physical activity with joyful experiences for neurodiverse learners.

Gatti’s visit highlighted the importance of mentorship and the powerful impact of sports in fostering growth and connection. This special event was not just about inaugurating a space but also about creating unforgettable memories and inspiring our students to dream big.
