Physiotherapy

Working with students in areas beyond academics help them to understand the holistic aspects of personal growth.

Body in Motion

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession concerned with a person’s ability to move and function throughout lifespan.

In order to allow our students to reach their full potential, we need to consider all areas of their development. One such area is their motor skills. Motor skills are concerned with how the child is moving and interacting with their environment on a  daily basis.

The skills we focus on in the Physiotherapy department are: walking skills, tolerance to exercise, ability to do stairs, posture, postural control, overall body strength, muscular endurance, range of motion, flexibility, movement coordination, balance, and gross motor skills (jumping, hopping, running, ball manipulation skills, bike riding skills, etc).

At Summit, we take pride in approaching our therapy sessions with positivity, creativity and professionalism.
