Some of the most important victories happen quietly, away from any scoreboard. Our Perseverance Awards exist to celebrate exactly those.
Summit School was honoured to welcome Ms. Marwah Rizqy, Member of the National Assembly for Saint-Laurent, who presented Perseverance Awards to 35 of our students. The ceremony recognizes students who have shown remarkable strength in overcoming personal and academic challenges, the kind of obstacles that do not always make headlines but take real courage to face. For these students, perseverance is not a single moment. It is the daily decision to keep going, to try again, and to push through what is hard.
That is what makes this celebration so meaningful to our community. Every student at Summit follows their own path, and progress can look different from one student to the next. The Perseverance Awards honour effort, resilience, and growth on each student's own terms. They send a message we want every one of our students to carry with them: that showing up, working hard, and refusing to give up are achievements worth celebrating.
Families filled the room to cheer on their children and share in the pride of the day. Guests were treated to delicious food prepared by our Summit Bistro and Summit Café teams, giving our work-training students a chance to shine alongside their peers and reminding everyone just how much our students are capable of.
A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Marwah Rizqy for leading this celebration and for taking the time to recognize the determination of our students. And congratulations to all 35 of our award recipients. Your perseverance inspires us, and we could not be prouder of you.
