Thank you Cravehub!

The Job Training Department is thrilled to share that we recently received a government grant to purchase a vending machine! This machine is more than just a snack/drink station—it serves as a hands-on ‘stage’ for our Challenges students, giving them the opportunity to learn and practice essential life and job skills. With support from a job coach, students take the lead in managing inventory, restocking the machine, purchasing products, maintaining it, and even counting and rolling coins. 

A huge thank you goes to Cravehub, from whom we purchased the machine. Their generous donation of the coin payment system helped us stay on budget and made this project possible. We are incredibly grateful for their support! 

Companies that support our ‘stage’ placements do more than help students build skills—they provide opportunities for students to take responsibility, make decisions, and feel proud of their accomplishments. For example, one student carefully selected specific snacks for the machine, taking ownership of their work and demonstrating true pride in their contribution.
