I AM WHAT I EAT!

So we wanted everyone to see just how healthy we are! We’ve been talking about Canada’s Food Groups and put together a healthy meal placemat that we will use everyday in our classroom. We filled up half of our plate with fruits and vegetables, the other half was divided equally between grains and proteins. We made sure to keep in mind proper portion size. It’s not just what we eat that matters, but how much we eat. Grains should match the size of our fist and protein should be palm-sized. Just remember…….each food helps ups in many different ways so it’s important to eat a variety every day. Now go make good choices!
