Summit Bistro
Learning basic cooking skills and being exposed to the kitchen environment builds life skills and opens doors to employment.
A Taste of Creativity and Passion
The Summit School Bistro Program is an multi-faceted educational initiative that introduces Summit School students to the kitchen environment. Both semi-professional and life skills cooking and baking skills are taught, with the goal of empowering students to feel comfortable and confident in the kitchen.

The Bistro Program operates a healthy, restaurant level lunch services 3-4 days per week at the TECC campus. It also runs a learn to cook program that teaches basic home cooking skills. The program also has a catering arm that has serviced conferences, special events and corporate functions throughout Montreal. We currently have an ongoing contract to supply desserts to Chef-On-Call.

The Bistro Program also leads multi-disciplinary projects within the school, like the Kitchen To Classroom program where Bistro Student Bakers prepare cookie making kits for classrooms at the main campus.
ON THE MENU
Throughout the year the Summit Bistro offers seasonal crates, and holiday food promotions. We also have done many caterings, from specialty popcorn to full event services.

Due to the fact that the Summit Bistro is limited by the school hours and prioritizing curriculum, not all requests for catering can be accommodated.
