Summit School offers a 5 week summer camp program to the students who attend or have attended Summit School. Campers are grouped by age and social level. There are a minimum of 2 counsellors per group. Many of the summer counsellors are staff from Summit School. Each week is a different theme and the campers participate in a variety activities related to that theme. Activities include daily swimming at the community pool, weekly campwide outings to beaches, as well as Outdoor Sports, Dances, Pajama Parties, Bowling, Mini Putt, Bar—B—Q’s, Colour War, Air Bouncers, Baking and much more. The goal of summer camp is to provide a fun-filled summer within a safe context.
Transportation is available in most areas on the island of Montreal. However, there are restrictions in certain areas of the city.
Summer Camp applications are sent home in February. The earlier you register the likelier your child will secure a spot at camp.
In addition, there are subsidies available for camp available. Please contact your Social Worker as soon as possible to apply for these subsidies for you.
